NAWRA League Information

The Northern Alberta Women's Ringette Association (NAWRA) is a non-profit organization that offers ringette to all Open level teams in Northern Alberta. Teams can register through their home association or directly through NAWRA itself.

NAWRA holds two membership meetings per season, a Fall Quick-Off meeting typically held in September and an Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in the spring. These meetings are held to discuss new rules, procedures, questions and concerns from teams, and NAWRA board position holders. All teams must provide two representatives and can pay their league fees during these meetings.

NAWRA typically schedules games starting the week after Thanksgiving weekend until the end of March. We have four divisions:

  • Open A - highly competitive - ex-NRL and AA players.
  • Open B - very competitive
  • Open C - competitive
  • Recreation - will be combined with Open C for the 2021-2022 season.

Please see the specific division tabs to view team rankings and other division information.
