The Northern Alberta Women's Ringette Association (NAWRA) is a non-profit organization that supports all Open level ringette teams in Northern Alberta. Teams can register through their home association or directly with NAWRA.
NAWRA holds two membership meetings each season: the Fall Kick-Off Meeting, typically in September, and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the spring. These meetings address policies, procedures, and any questions or concerns from teams and NAWRA board members. Each team must provide two representatives to attend both meetings.
NAWRA usually schedules games from the week after Thanksgiving weekend until the end of March. NAWRA supports four divisions:
Open A - highly competitive: ex-NRL and AA players
Open B - very competitive
Open C - competitive
